| BioTrax is the first independent database in the United Kingdom that represents volunteers and provides the only focal point that a volunteer can turn to for information, advice, management and opportunities. We also provide the stage for Volunteers/ Panellists to air their views or concerns - 'The one stop shop for volunteers of the UK'. Before the inception of BioTrax there was no one organisation to challenge the task of providing for our volunteers, and / or an organisation that would stand up for the rights, issues and the concerns of volunteers, whilst still offering to volunteers a free placement service with a greater variety and freedom of choice, that only an Independent organisation could bring. BioTrax does not attract any clinical trial house that does not support the freedom of choice, or greater general moral concerns of our industry. We act out of total support for the volunteer. Surprisingly enough, the clinical trial houses we recruit for, have shown us incredible support, and agree that such a norganisation has been long awaited as we aid towards putting an end to dominant influences over volunteers in any one geographical area. BioTrax is not a Union, Charity, or Research establishment, but very simply the service and voice of the volunteer. No volunteer on the BioTrax database is ever penalised in any way for refusing a study. This will always be your choice, as in fact it should be. This is your organisation. |
